Honestly, have you looked at Mori Seiki, Nakamura-Tome (Methods Machine Tools), Ikegai, Dainichi, and Tsugami.

These are better Machines that will last for a long time to come. They are also G-Code Programmed so you can use BCC.

EIA/ISO is an Option for Mazaks.

I am guessing that you are only looking for a price range... However, you did leave yourself open for a ton of different answers to an open ended pricing question.

I hope the following helps... The machine listed below is currently being offered for resale for a price of $44,900... The following is a list of machines I have seen sold over the past few months...

1. A 1992 Model without barfeed and fair condition - $45,900
2. A 1994 Model with barfeed & Tooling in Good Condition - $65K
3. A 1996 Model with Quick Change Chucks - $72,500
4. There are a couple of 1996 18MS' on the market right now being priced in the $70's
