HI Guys, I want to know, if there is some way we could call a program at certin times without anybody manually calling it.we run 7/24 whenever we find the scrap parts it's hard to track it which shift the part came from.I like to add feed lines to identify the shift. Thanks |

| Not sure what you're looking in "call lines".... We run 24/7 as well. Our parts are engraved and serialized though so its easy to track the bad ones. On parts that aren't serialized, we just have a check process at the end of each shift to identify good ones, bad ones, stock left over, tooling issues, etc. So we know who ran the "bad" ones. Also, SPC keeps things in check as well. Identifying when/who isn't really a problem.

| if your programming in EIA you could do it. use the system variable for the clock(#3012) as a way to steer the program. ex. G1Z-1.0 IF[#3012GT160000]GOTO2 U-.002(FEED BAND) U.002 N2Z-3.0 160000 would be 4:00 pm. 72500 would be 7:25 am |
