air thru the spindle on mazak 510 v

we have on the soft keys the m code to turn on the air thru the spindle but it does not work is there a parameter to turn on ?
If so could any one help in turning it on?

Do you have air to the machine.
Do you have a air gauge in the back of the machine that says zero?
Have someone press the button and see if it is pulling a solenoid in the back.
Check all the fuses, might have been disabled in another life?
Do you have a ladder diagram for M 06?
Do you have a wiring diagram for the front panel?
Sorry, I guess I have more questions for you than I have answers.
Maybe a diagram for the air lines. Can't spell pneumatic.

The soft keys will only work when the spindle is stopped. The coupling seals are lubed with the thru coolant and will dry out if only air is used.
