Question Intergrex 400 III milling ques.

How do you "free" the milling spindle so you could indicate a bore in the side of a shaft? I'm not as familiar with this machine as I'd like to be but the opperator is telling me it can't be done. For the record it has a 640 mt pro control. And it's a 2005 model year machine.

We tried that and as soon as we moved the spindle it went into e-stop? BTW we had the spindle in the horizontal pos.

Try the mcode M252 -Milling spindle unclamp
or describe the tool in mazatrol tool data as an endmill.
