m32 alarm 27 magnetic position detect malf.

Please help me!!!???

I have a mazak vqc 15-40 that is giving me 27 y mag. pos. detect malf. alarm. when looking in the control box, z axis board is reading E7. What gives? All mazak is telling me is to "replace incoder with known good unit". Also, the heat sinks on y and z boards are very hot to touch after alarm. Had a very good repairman work on it and he thought it was only a heat issue in the box as two fans were bad. Added small AC unit to box and machine will run 5-15 min. before shutting down. Could it be the shielded ground cable? I re-seated all boards and it ran for over an hour, but I can't get it to repeat that feat again.

That means magazine position detector malfunction. I think you may have a problem with the rotary switch that tells the n\c where the magazine is.
