How do you start in the middle of a program at the beginning of the day? I have ten tools in my program, I shut down at the end of the day with 5 tools done. The next day I start and warm up the machine. How do I get to tool 6 and begin from there? I'm using the Mazak m plus control |

| Steveo, We have an M-2. Don't know if its the same, but here goes....... Go into AUTO mode, Rightmost soft key becomes RESTART, in answer to its first question after pressing restart answer with the n number of the line you want to strt on (just enter then number), if it asks any other questions, just hit INPUT. THen you sshould see the N- numbers rolling by at the top of the screen as it searches, when it reaches the n-number you asked for it will take off. Be sure to have the tool length (G43) spindle speed and direction and G54 repeated in the section you are restarrting from - remember it was asleep and doesn't remember these. |

| Thanks for help. I got the answer. All you need to do is press the far left botton in position page twice, press eia monitor, curser down and highlight n# in program, press restart2nd, press position page, open program window and press cycle start. Takes about 5 seconds once you know how to do it. |
