Mazatrol CAM-M2 communication parameters

Hi everybody,

I continue discovering my Mazak VQC20/50b

I did not came here for 1 month because, I wanted to test the automatic tool measurement for the first time! With the help of Eliseo I have now a lot of book and found the process...

I started with a simple diameter 14 drill. But the proximity sensor in the measurement block fail. So the head did not stop and the measurement arm broke!!!!

I bought a new proximity sensor, repair the arm and now it works.

Now I'd like to progress to the next step. This step is to send the simple program in attachement to the Mazatrol.


I put a RS232 serial to TCPIP converter for communicating with the DNC hosted on my desktop computer.
I'm a telecom engeener so no problem for communicating with the serial converter and the DNC host?

My problem (and my question) is for finding the RS232 parameters already programmed into my VQC machine. Does someone know how to find this settings. I did not find this information in the manual Eliseo send me.

After I will have this settings does someone know how to launch on the Mazatrol unit the download process from the DNC?
