I am trying to thread up to a shoulder (feeding right to left)on a part and used a G32 threading cycle. Everything worked just fine until I realized it's a left hand thread. The programming manual examples use M3 to run the spindle but I can only use a left hand holder in the turret, which requires me to run an M4 code.....which is causing the problem. I understand I can use a left hand threading bar running the M4 code and I will get right hand threads. My question is: Is there a way to use the G32 cycle , using M4, and feed left to right from the shoulder ? Thank you |
