how to setup tool life on Mazak Nexus

I'm trying to use tool life number on a Mazak Nexus control. I have set F113.0 to 0, F113.1 to 1, and F113.4 to 1. I've set the Life Time = 0, Cut Time = 0, Life Number = 20000, and Used Number = 0. I've ran a few parts, and the Used Number isn't incrementing, although the Cut Time is. My program doesn't have an M30 (this is a robot loaded cell, and we are using a main automation program to call machining programs as subs). Is there an M-code that I need to use to make the Used Number increment? Thanks!

set the life time to whatever limit you want
the cut time will increment till it reaches the life time
then the control will alarm and tell you when its up
the cut time will continue to increment if you don't reset it
