hello friends. as you can see from attached picture , -Z limit is set to "-10001000" the problem is; at manual or automatic mode, when B axis is 0 degree , Z axis can move until -1000 when B axis is 180 degree , Z axis can move until -800 when B axis is 213 degree , Z axis can move until -874 we made our own zero point from each side of fixture. at this condition , z must move to -1000 in any B axis value.but it doesn't. we are not sure but we think that , in previous usage of the machine , according to fixture shape ,they put some kind of system limit that can not be changed easily. but now , our fixture doesn't make any restriction on Z axis movement. so we want to remove these limits. I hope you understand my explanations. I am waiting your kind supports. ![]() thanks. |

| I've looked at this post a dozen times and I'm still not sure what this is about but I'll give it a shot.... I don't know of any "barrier" parameters for an FH machine other than the standard soft limits of M9 & M7. The Z limit for M9 is set like that because that is just about the limit of Z. Beyond that, you run into the hard stop not much further.... certainly not enough to make up for 200mm of travel. You said you made a zero point on each side of the fixture. Question: Is this zero point the same distance from the pallet center-of-rotation on each sides? You say Z must move -1000 ..... From machine home to work on each face? Is your part really small for the machine? Or is the part shape such that you need to work towards the far side of the pallet at each B position? Are you running multiple work offsets? If so, is the Z zero position of each face different for each one? Because if so, then your fixture and/or part isn't on center of rotation anyway so of course you won't have the same distance travel.
