Problem- Mazak H500 HMC 50N/Spindle Gear Does Not Shift

Hi,
This morning after turning on the machine and running the program, the spindle could not run in Low gear but it can shift to high gear and run (in low gear the spindle motor is running but not engage to tool holder the tool is not turning).
Has any one have any information to help me regarding this???

Check your 24Vdc output signal that commands the gear shift with however your machine is designed for gear shifts, check your 24Vdc input signal, check your pneumatic or hydraulic electric valves that activate your gears. Check your air pressure for pneumatic, your hydraulic oil levels for hydraulic. You can't go wrong looking at those. Cheers.

Those are the best things to check. Another thing I would check would be to check the prox switches in the back. Sometimes the covered with chips. Sometimes you gotta get dirty! While there you could also pop the cover underneath the carrier. It will give you a look at all the gears and shifter. Just watch out if you open it...you never know what will fall out!

Thanks guys, the problem is that Rod Shifter is broken and one of the gears is worn out the problem was mechanical and now it is about a week I am looking for the parts, except Mazak does any one knows another source???
