Our three man shop has the chance to purchase a Slant 25 with a T-1 control at a nice price. I understand the T-1 is conversationally programmed only. Normally we use MasterCam. So the question is, should we pass on this machine OR 1) my information is wrong, the T-1 can do G-code from MasterCam - buy it 2) shop floor programming on T-1 is efficient enough to get us through - buy it 3) MasterCam can be adapted to output Mazatrol - buy it Thanks so much - Matt |

| Making this machine G-code capable is an extra cost option from Mazak. The machine may or may not have it. I've not done Mazatrol. My understanding is its very capable, great for programming at the machine, has a steep learning curve. Karl |

| Nice rugged work horse, One thing, Considering the age, is to check the brushes on all the DC motors (servo & spindle) as a few bucks here saves $1000's on a new motor, You can get them reasonable from Helwig Carbon. Has an older Mitsubishi control, but parts are still available from Mits. Al.
