Post Mazak T32 Alarm: 39 OVER AMPERE

Hi,
I have a Multiplex 620 with T32 control, recently I had problem with one of the axis drive on Head1 (RG221B) then I repaired RG221B and put it back.
The machine was running perfectly but after few weeks by turning on the machine in the morning the Alarm: 28 PRINT CIRCUIT BOARD MALFUNCTION was on the screen and the action says Replace The Control Card (RF01) which I could not find it, after turning off & on again this alarm was gone and I could keep going on without any problem.
Few days back in the mid day suddenly I got a new Alarm:
39 OVER AMPERE, I replaced MC617(MCP) with another one the alarm 39 moved from head1 to Head2, I replace both MC617 card with spare one but I get Alarm: 15 system Malfunction.
I appreciate any help & information regarding:
1- Where is Control Card RF01.
2- How can I find the problem due to Alarm: 39 Over Ampere.
3- Why after replacing MC617 with new one the control can not accept those cards (MC617) and shows Alarm: 15 System Malfunction.
Thank you for any helo & information.
Karsue

RF01 is found on a single axis drive. Yours is a dual since you mentioned RG221.

If you replaced an MC617 with a spare one I don't see how the problem can just move from one head to the other if there was no swapping of parts done from head to head.

I would see if you can restore the machine back to the state where you had an overcurrent alarm and start troubleshooting again. I would start by replacing the drive that you initially worked on. Maybe swap that from head to head and see if the problem follows.

It would be a good idea to check your motor and motor leads on the axis where the overcurrent first occurred. You don't want to put a good drive in that position only to blow it.

Hi Rokkin,
Many thanks for your reply.
After I posted the thread, I went to work more on the machine and finally the same day I found the problem.
One of the IGBT (6DI75A-050) on servo axis drive amplifier was blown.
I replace it with the same type and now everything is back to normal.
If you may need further more information regarding this problem, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Hi,
Usually when you have system malfunction, it might be your processor or your parameters need to be re-initialize (because you mentioned that the battery has been changed, I am do not know what was the reason).
Check all the parameters (user & Machine) or if you have a back-up, re-initialize all of them.
Cheers
