Hello everyone, The machine is a 1990 Mazak ST20ATCMC, T32-3 Controls After completing a simple program in mazatrol, the machine will not start operations in auto mode and will not display any error codes. When we execute a TOOL PATH>SHAPE check, the machine displays the error: "807 PROCESS DATA NOT FOUND" When we purchased the machine, it would execute automatic operations and tool changes without an issue. We haven't modified any of the machine parameters. I'm fairly new to Mazak's and Mazatrol and I'm not sure if this is a machine parameter issue, software issue, program issue etc. Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks! diesel_dan |

| On some of the Mazak machines there are hidden macro programs that control the tool change or turret. Did you ever loose parameters or have to re-init this machine? You can access these by going to Program File Menu. Press "All Erase" Type .00 and <Input> for Canned Cycles. Type .10 <Input> for Program Files Type .01 <Input> for ATC programs. It's the .01 area you should find a special macro that controls the ATC for your machine. These program will be labeled 9001>9009 with the exception of 9008 which should be missing. You may find them in a manual located in the electrical cabinet on the door. Regards, Chippy, |

| Process data not found is relating to the program its self. If you go back to the program edit screen while still leaving the alarm displayed you should see at the bottom of the screen in brackets () the info telling you what process is causing the error. IE. if it was program number 1515 and process 15 was the one with an issue and the issue was line 5 of the shape data, it would show as follows: (1515,15,5) I find an easy way to test is to insert an END PROCESS before the process it has the issue with and re-try the TOOL PATH>SHAPE check. If this works, you know where the issue is and you can then spend the time trying to fix. How this helps Jake T-B |

Thanks for the input guys. After a bit of trial and error (mostly error), I was able to figure out the issue. It had to do with the facing operation at the beginning of my program. It seems on my machine that when facing, the logic on +/- Z is flipped so when I was programming the tool path, the machine thought I wanted to start facing inside the part and step away from it. Again, thanks for the help. |
