griffo to m-32 communication??

I am trying to load a eia program into a mazak ajv through the latest version of griffo software.
We load the mazatrol programs with no prblems but have not been able to load a eia program et and I am getting tired of typing.

Does your mazak have the ability to use .eia programs? I know that it is an option you must purchase....an expensive option. We have a old FJV and the eia card upgrade from Mazak is about 5K. Not really worth it on our old machine.

Yes is does have the option or at least we have typed it in and it runs fine in the eia side, but I cannot seem to load any programs thru griffo bros?

On M32's I've worked on in the past, there was a button near the RS-232
port that you would push in or out when you would upload/download in
EIA.
Mazak service in L.A. California Tel # 1-800-511-8927. They are very helpfull
overthe phone on simple matters such as this.
