Does anyone know if there is a boring cycle or a way to stop spindle and lock it at the bottom of a hole and move away from bore so bore does not get scared up. Meldus 500m on a takumi V11A |

Hi, I have the Fine Boring cycle format (G76), for the M60 control & believe it is same for the M500 to. Attached is the same FYI. Be careful with the retract direction setting, else could damage the tool. Best Regards, Girish |

Hi, The advantage with the MELDAS control is that the Fixed Cycles are Macro Programs, stored in the Fixed Cycle Memory & not a part of System s/w. So by setting the Fixed Cycle parameter, you can go to this memory & input or download the program. Also these programs are given in the end of MELDAS 500 Instruction manual. i.e. G76 corresponds to O760 etc. The MACRO is normally standard in MELDAS Controls. All the best. Girish |
