    alarm 950 fuse break otc

    does anyone know about alarm 950 fuse break fx 14

    wncl 20 femco 1989 otc
    i have looked in the fanuc series o maintenance manual and it didnt say much other then to replace the fuse i wish it was that easy When i turn on the main breaker to the cnc everything is fine when turn it on at the control panel machine locks with alarm 950
    All fuses on power supply are good , green lights comes on both power supply and mother board i have even replaced power supply with no luck and also checked crt wires cp15 also called fanuc and femco thay were not much help is there anyone that has any experiance on this one

    no solution yet??

    Has anyone figured out what went wrong? or how to fix it?? i'm having the same problem, checked all the fuses and they are good

    update

    well we found the fx 14 fuse and it was blown... replaced it... powered up and it blew again...

    update

    after spending a few hours with a technician we've narrowed the problem down to the M1 cable coming out of the I/O board, which has 50 pins, so its only a matter of tracking down which of the 50 is causing the short...

    solution

    well it ended up being a kink in the optic cable for the spindle...
