Need Help!- Mazak 640M control

Has anyone experienced this problem when trying to load a new program error (memory capacity exceeded) comes up. No other programs in memory. Size doesn't matter. even a 2 line program it will alarm out.

Where you put program..?
Memory, hard disk, or ather..??
Please check, no of program on memory max 256

It is downloaded directly into the control memory.

Reformat the memory area and try again. Perhaps an initialization is in order if that doesn't solve the problem.
