This is for the Lathe T1 it should be the same for M1, If possible note down all the information on the BARRIER SCREEN, STROKE LIMITSCREEN and HOURS Screen.
Select PROGRAM SCREEN, Press ALL ERASE then INPUT Key.
Select PARAM Screen, press down arrow and move to OP12 enter 111111118 then Input
Power off and on quickly.
Select T-DATA screen there should be a menu key highlighted at the right hand side, press the menu key and CLEAR BUTTON.
Select T-SET screen, Press the first highlighted key on the right hand side and press clear.
Select C-Cond screen, press the first RH highlighted key and press clear.
Select the PARAM screen, press the menu key nex to PAGE and press the clear key.
All parameter will be zeroed so press the page key and do the same for page 1.
Parameter page 2 should be done last as it will zero out OP12
Type in the parameters and data a page at a time.
NOTE. When entering the parameters, the parity bit should be entered and be the total of all bits that are ONE.
For example if a parameter is 11010010 then the entry will be 110100104
Parameters that are all zero do not need this procedure.
Enter all other data.
Hope this works.
Al.

Dear Al.

Thank you very much for your prompt reply.

I try to do with your hint but it seems many different between T1 and M1 since in the parameter sheet here I only have the following screen:

1. Material cut condition
2. Cut cond. param No1
3. Cut cond. param No2
4. Cut cond. param No3
5. Point cutting param
6. Line/Face cutting param
7.Shape cutting param
8. Measuring param
9. Machine const para No1
10. Machine const para No2
11. Machine const para No3
and the pitch error comp data.

No screen have the OP para.

Furthermore, when power on the machine, I found that only item 1, 5, 6, 8 are on the screen, others items I think to be hidden.

Could you help me more.

Best regards.

I am assuming you have a Mitsubishi controls as far as I know the M1 T1 series only used this control, if it is another type of control then this would change things, Later Mazaks used either Mitsubishi or Fanuc control.
All the ones I have seen you can page to the Parameter screen. If you identify the make, you may have to contact either Mazak or Mitsubishi or Fanuc directly. If you need a contact for Mitsubishi I can give you a couple of leads.
