I use alot of Variables in my G code programs for our Fanuc control but have not done to much G code programming for the used Mazaks that we got I found out that when running a G code program on our Mazak Mill that I could not get it to count parts so I added this statement to the program #3901=[#3901]+1. #3901 will also work in a fanuc this makes me wonder do Mazak and Fanuc both use the same System Variables? I have a list of all the Fanuc System Variables is there such a list floating around for the Mazak Controls? something that has all the sys Variables work coord redisters Call parameters all that kinda stuff I know all this is in a book some ware I was just hopping that someone had a nice little file with all that info in it like the one I found for the fanuc controls. |

| Mazak G code is amazingly "fanuc compatible", which leads me to believe there are some industry standards for "user macro B' formats lust like EIA-RS-274, which i think is an attempt at standardizing G code language? By attempt, it was up to date in the 70's, but it seems lie EIA/ISO standards groups have given up on keeping up with current CNC standards? Anyway, the system variables of a mazak control can be found in the eia programming manuals under the User Macro B sections, and I think you will find many system variables to be coincident with Fanuc. When in doubt, the Mazak EIA book wins! -90% Jimmy |
