Hi - got a Mazak QT Nexus 250 II with a Hydrafeed Barfeeder attached. Have a job here that needs barfeeding but because of the short bar lengths (400mm) cannot be loaded by the barfeeder automatically. Therefore we are loading them by opening the door and then feeding them down the spindle. The trouble is this when we do this we have to operate the chuck and when you operate the chuck with the barfeeder ON its trips out. So we have to turn the barfeeder OFF before doing this. My question: Is there anyway to turn the barfeeder off and then back ON again with an M code - rather than having to go down the manual route of turning it off and back on again - which is a bit painful. Thanks in advance |
