Nexus 200 MY: Barfeeder fed out double the material and tool tried to face off in the middle of the part which doesn't work all that well. After getting things cleaned up, new inserts and such I made another part only the find the drilled and tapped hole in the center was in fact not in the center. The hole was drilled and tapped using live tools if that makes a difference. Any help here would be appreciated. Thank You |

| Sounds like the same as happened to our a couple of months back sorry to say it was a job for the mazak engineers to come out and realign your turret. They took just about a day to do ours last time but make sure you have them check the allignment with all the tool holders!! |

| Thank You for the info! I believe Mazak will be on the call list today. I know our last machinist had done the alignment on his own once. We had a similar problem before and had Mazak here to align it and ever since he had done this on his own. Thank You again |

| would your application allow to push to a stop on the turret? if so this is always safer as any load is excerted to the bar feeder. and the machine is not in rapid traverse or something. also these turrets are very simple to align and also simple to rest the x axis 0. pay attention to the mazak guy so not to have to pay again. also for 500 dollars you could send an employee to mazak for training on the machine this is much cheaper than even one visit from mazak. |
