We use a mazadisk. Small portable 3 1/2 disk drive from Mazak. Somtimes available on E-Bay. We also use Griffo Brothers (Cam link)
I have an old Mazak QT 25C Chucker Lathe. I have reached the memories limit for the amount of programs I can have. I'm looking for a cheap way to transfer programs to and from the machine to a PC. I don't want to program offline, just store programs. Thanks for any help in advance. Brian.

If your machine has the standard ports on the side (printer, etc.), you can use a computer and hyperterminal to save the programs to the computer. I use it to save my programs to my companies main server and it has never let me down.
Greenie 71, what is a hyperterminal?
Do a google search for Ezatrol. I use it for file transfer on a T32 but IIRC it will work for a T2. They have a free fully functional 30 day demo to down load and try. If you need help setting it up give Eric a call in their support department at 630-319-1089.
