    Mazak QT-20 HP Spindle Error

We have a lathe listed in the subject and one morning I came, fired it up, homed it out, and chucked on a part I was working on the day before and the spindle ran for a few seconds then stopped. It gave me a spindle start error. I hit reset looked at the control and the chuck clamp light was lit. I hit start again and the spindle ran again for a second or 2 then it stopped and alarmed again. Since that morning it has done this for the first 30 minutes or so after the machine is turned on and then the problem stops for the rest of the day. The time the spindle runs before alarming out is not consistent, sometimes a second or two sometimes it will run for several minutes. Once it has ran a bit though it never does it again throughout the day. Any ideas?
