Meldas 500 Series Power up Issue

Recently purchased a late 90's model Mitsubishi Milling center with the Meldas 520MT.
At power up, drives come on and some relays light up as well as some of the pmc push buttons (coolant on/off, etc.).
However, there is no display on monitor and no led's on QX521 card.
No machine ready light or responce?
QX084 card has green led's lit.
QX141-1 card has green led's lit and one red led blinking.
Seems to have power going to display but no data so to speak.
Back lamp to monitor is lit.
All cables seem to be connected properly.
Backup battery checks ok. (not sure how long machine sat)
Anyone have these symtems before?
Thanks for your help!
JP

red light on qx141 will indicate problem in CPU, you should try to check first qx141,
contact the service center for further troubleshooting

Well my machine is working OK, when powered down and stays off for the weekend then it won't start up. Actually the red LED is on QX722 which is piggy backing the QX141-1.
No solution jet.
Thanks for reply

pocok,

The LED is a watchdog which basically means the control is locked up. You say that the machine runs fine but come Monday I assume you have this issue.

What do you do to get the machine operational again?

Typically this issue pertains to the battery. I believe someone asked you to measure the battery voltage. What were the results? This measurement must be completed with the power off and the battery of course should remain plugged in to the CNC. These batteries are non-rechargable lithium batteries and must be replaced over time.

Hope this helps a little.

Regards,
Chippy

Chippy,
In the morning when the machine won't start I do turn ON_OFF a couple off time till comes on.
The battery voltage is 3.008 VDC with power off for 2-3 minutes.
This is the battery accessible from outside behind a little door.
Are there any more batteries on any other circuit cards?
Does anyone had any power supply problems/aka replaced capacitors?

Thanks for replies, Happy New Year to all!
