need some help with tool measuring on this machine. it has a probe. i have no literature or info. when milling tools r measured(not offset) the tool has a positive z value and the work or reference coordinate(g54 g55 ect.) is the actual work location being a negative value in the z axis. is it the same on the mazak or any cnc lathe for that matter and how is this achieved. or what is the best way. all my experience is on mills. any help is appreciated. thanx antny Edit/Delete Message |
