MRS DRIVE & JUMPER S9

DEAR FRIENDS,

WE HAVE ONE MAZAK 35-60 WITH MRS SINGLE AXIS DRIVE FOR X,Y&Z AXIS.

WHEN EVER WE SWITCH ON THE MACHINE WE ARE GETTING EMERGENCY STOP ALARM AND THE FAULT INDICATION IN THE RF701 CARD OF THE Z-AXIS IS F-55 & THE OTHER TWO AXES F56

WE KNOW THAT F56 IS NOT ALARM INDICATION.

WHEN WE CHANGED THE RF701 CARD WITH NECESSARY JUMPERING SETTINGS FROM THE Z-AXIS TO SAY X-AXIS THE ALARM IS GETTING TRANSFERRED TO THE X-AXIS(I.E. F-55 IN THE X-AXIS DRIVE) BUT WE ARE GETTING F56 ON Y-AXIS & E7(EMERGENCY STOP) ON Z-AXIS.

THE S-9 JUMPER IS FOR EMG VALID IF IT IS NOT INSERTED & IGNORE EMG IF IT IS INSERTED.

CAN WE TRY BY INSERTING THE S-9 JUMPER IN THE RF-701 CARD OF THE Z-AXIS.

THE B,R TERMINALS OF ALL THE AXES ARE CONNECTED TO EMG.

WILL THERE BE ANY FAULT IN THE RF 701 CARD or IN THE MAIN POWER SUPPLY MODULE WHERE THE CONTACTOR IS MOUNTED.

You have Chance! I can help you for this.
Your problem cam from the RF01, or 701 PCB, of your MRS Unit, There is a static (same as SSR) Relay around an Hybride circuit on this PCB, This relay have an red LED No? and it is not Light No? This Static relay is probably broken and the Ready signal to power on the servo is not comming! Then alarme 55....!
I repaired many cards like this one.
Let me know where are you? Witch country? May be I can repaired it for you!
In first try to change this Bladdy relay! Then may be ok? Take care to the Board to the Static Current from your body! Every things can Explode at Power On !!!

OUR PROBLEM IS WHEN WE SWITCH ON THE M/C THE DRIVE IS GETTING ON OK FOR SOME TIME AND AFTER WORDS IT IS GOING BACK TO 55 ALARM STATE.

THE RED LED WHAT YOU HAVE MENTIONED IS LIT IN THE BEGINNING.DO WE HAVE TO CHANGE THE DS431.
