Hi, I need an EIA/ISO Sub Program to efficiently cut a big-ish 45 degree chamfer using a ball nose cutter. I want to position the cutter at a point in X,Y and Z, then call up the Sub Program to incrementaly move the cutter down in Z and along in Y or X at a given depth and distance. I want to repeat this process in even values until the material is removed. I've been using a 45 degree cutter in Mazatrol until now, but tool life is useless when cutting armour plate at 55 rockwell C. Basically i need a fanuc type canned cycle. Any help would be appreciated or i'm working Sunday. Bat. |

| Cycle time will increase dramatic if you do that, good news is it's can be done. Create zigzag pattern as subprog and repeat many times you like(one program for X and one for Y.
