I have Multiple errors but cant pin point where the problem is, 61-over gerneration, 16-amplifier not equipped, 21 insuffiient voltage, The Freqrol unit model FRS gj watch dog shows (error AL-32) This is a twin spindle machine the other Freqrol unit showed an alerm code ( E7 ). also in the alrms history page is 205 milling controller malfuntion and 204 spindle controller maulfunction and 39 over ampere. The machine shut down so I turned of the power later I started up the machine and it runs fine for a couple if hrs then it all starts to happen again, Has anyone got the probable cause. Also this a Japan imported machine so we run a large voltage transformer to bring the voltage down. Also the X & B drive unit is flashing F4 and F1 usually its just a static 56 showing on the display. |

| The F#'s are fine and the 56 just means that there is an alarm on one of the other drives. The E7 is just emergency stop and that is normal because you are in alarm state. The 32 on the spindle drive is no good though. There are several things that can cause this problem. Check the voltage at the drive. It should be between 200 and 220. The drive will operate outside of this range but you may shorten the lifespan of the drive. Ohm out the motor to see what readings you get. Each leg to ground should be register open on a regular digital multimeter. The problem could also be in your feedback. More then likely the drive unit is slowly going bad and will have to be replaced. If the two freqrol drive units are the same kilowatt size then you can try to swap them to rule everything else out. |

| We had the Power supply replaced on the drive by the Mazak service people a day later alarms persist now it ( 16 ) amplifier not equipped and the main Freqrol is lights out I had a genius checkout all the components and the unit he said couldn't find a fault in it any thing you can think of would be nice to here about regards paulw |

| Turn the main breaker off. Pull all connections from the drive except incoming power to the drive. Turn on the main breaker. If the drive is still lights out then the problem is internal to the drive. If it comes on then there may be a problem with some thing looked to the drive. Check the motor junction box and see that no coolant has entered the electrical junction box. |
