MR-J2 Controller...Teaching Home directions

Does anyone have directions to teach the MR-J2 controller home position? We are playing with Mazak 280 C Lathe, with 640 Fusion controller. We have replaced the HR-113 Mother board, and the hard drive, Mazak/Mitsubishi had gotten all of the info to load the operating systems...but we have gotten the machine/user parameters loaded, but...well that is another topic...We cant get the programs loaded into the NC either.

The instructions we have for the MR-J2 seem to not be entirely correct, I was wondering if there is a "simple" step by step. The mouse does work...So that is a plus.

Any help would be great.

If the data from your old hard drive was saved then you should be able to to an Absolute Position Repair. Go to the start menu and open the MR-J2 software. Under parametrs there is a button labeled ABS Position Repair. If it is grayed out then you will have to manually set home position. If it is in black then you should be able to click on it and restore the home position.
