Mazatrol M32 alarm

Hello everybody.
I am new to this forum. Hope we will enjoy each other experience regarding problems relating to CNC machines.
My company has purchased a used MAZAK vertical machining centre model AJV-25/405N fitted with Mazatrol M32 controller After loading from the floppy disk the controller shows “NC alarm “ on the machine status indicator lamp and the following alarm are displayed on the monitor.
45 Emergency stop.
113 Over travel +X
115 Over travel +Y
118 Over Travel –Z.
I checked the emergency and over travel switches all are ok
When I press “MNT” Maintenance display key the monitor shows
Y02 system Alarm 0071 0000 <set data>
M01 Operation error 0006 XYZ
When I checked the ladder logic diagram it shows following signals are causing problem
X210 nc alarm 1=1
X211 nc alarm 2=1
X213 nc alarm 4=1
Please guide what is this alarm and how to remove it.

Thanks

There are 2 or 3 disks for that machine. One is system software Na d this disk should always stay in the disk drive. The other is for parameters/Macros and possibly one more for options. You need to make sure you put in the parameter disk so that they load into the machine. It sounds like you are just missing parameters at this point.

Thank you for your reply.

There are some parameter in the machine. As the machine is used one we dont have its parameter disk. Can any body help me in arranging the parameter floppy ?
What does "Y02 system Alarm 0071 0000 " or "Y02 system Alarm 0071 " alarm indicate ?

Thanks in Advance

Y02 has to do with the motion control section of the control and it's communication with the drives. You're probably getting this alarm because the parameters are not set up correctly. The parameters will set up how many drives and the address settings of the drives. It is very common to see these alarms if these parameters are not set up.
