I have a Mazak Mazatrol M Plus. I want to know if there is a way to skew my X and Y axes: in other words, instead of having an x or y axis that run parallel to the ballscrews for those axes, can I redine those axes by picking points and skew them? I have a part that i want to locate in this manner, and would like to know if its possible. Have any of you guys ever heard of anything like this? Eric |

not sure in mazatrol but in ISO on Mazak 640 G17 G92.5 X100.Y100.R5 Will rotate the datum 5 degrees in the anticlockwise direction. around the Z axis. Safe side. Try it with a big value without the part on to make sure it goes the way you want. Dont forget to cancel it after or you will be in a world of pain ![]() G17 G92.5 X0 X0 R0 X Y are always taken from the machine reference position. |
