    M520AM memory backup via RS232

A friend recently acquired a CNC with a Mitsubishi meldas 520AM PLC and want to backup the memory in case of a battery failure.

Is there a step by step procedure to backup and restore the memory via the RS232 port?

All the manuals should be on the MEAU site.

What data does he wish to backup? Does he already have the RS232 communicating with a PC now?
