Ares Seiki R450 VMC w/ Meldas 64 mid program restart?

Hey all,

I've been programming and running this machine for several years now. I've researched and researched, the manuals, online. I cannot figure out how to go about starting from a tool mid-program. I don't know if it's possible, or if I just can't find the info, but if anyone knows, please enlighten me! I'm fed up with running through the whole program to rerun a finish cut Why can't they all be as simple as Okumas? Thanks!

Program restart could be an option that needs to be purchased. Call Mitsubishi in Vernon Hills and they can verify that.

program restart

If you do not have a operations manual for the M60 control go to the website and download it. www.meau.com
Go to the Monitor chapter. It is called Resuming the program.

It is under the RESEARCH soft key on the control.

Hey all,

Thanks for the replies. I don't have that section in the Monitor chapter in my manual, so I assume the option is not on my machine. I figured out a round-about way of doing it by using the optional block skip function and just rewriting my programs to have the "/" in front of all the blocks except my initial referencing block and all M01's, so it works similarly. Ah well, a little more typing but that's OK. Thanks again!
