Low Voltage Alarm 8SP Lathe T2

On a Mazak 8SP lathe with T2 controls and Mitsubishi electronics (MRS2 Axis Drive) we are all of a sudden getting a low voltage alarm.

    Brief history:
    - machined burned a drive board RF22

Replaced the board and fixed the drive (replaced both axis modules in the drive base, sent out the complete drive to have it fixed and tested.

Received it back today and now when powering up it gives a F1, 10, F2, 10 alarm on the drive. According to the Mitsubishi manual the 10 is a low voltage alarm.

On the controls it has Axis overload alarm 13 and 14 along with a E-Stop alarm. On the position screen the load bars for each axis are maxed out at 225%

Magged both motors and they are good.

The incoming voltage is 230 volts. Machine has a tap-able transformer and it is set to 230 volts.

Running out of patience with Mitsubishi/Mazak and things to check. Had a couple of Mazak techs. out and still not running.

Sounds like "they" didn't get it fixed, or maybe a jumper setting is miss set on the board. Anyway, I'd call "whomever" and let them know I had trouble since the drives return from them. Surely there is a warranty. Oh and what about parameters on the drive? Are they buss downloaded or do they need to be input by hand?

Yeah left them a message this morning, this waiting on a call back. Wasn't sure if the low voltage alarm could be from the drive or not.

I think the drive is your problem, thus, I would send the MRS2 drive to Mitsubishi Electric in Chicago, for evaluation and repair.

    Good luck.
