lost programs on fusion 640m

I recently reached a point on my 640 M were I could no longer store any more programs in active memory. So I went about creating a file on the hard disk. I began transfuring the from active memory to the hard disk. You can only fit 36 prg numbers in the data I/O at any given time. So I loaded the first 36 and saved them, then the second 36 and so on. Well now that I am finished I realized that every time I saved a new batch of 36 it save over the preveius batch on the hard disk. So out of the 250 some programs I had the only ones that remain are the last batch I save to the hard disk. And I have already deleated everthing from active memory.

I guess my question is is there some way to retrive these lost files or am I SOL.

I believe your programs are lost. Unless you can send your hard drive to a specialist to retrieve the data. Technically data that is stored to a hard drive is always there even after deleting it but to retrieve that data is where it becomes difficult.

In any case the programs for the Fusion control are stored on the hard drive. Even the ones in active memory. All you really need to do is go into windows explorer, create a folder, and then drag and drop the existing programs into the new folder. In this way you can drag all 250 programs in one shot.

Just an observation...... 250 programs on 640M..... those are some short mill programs! (even if they're all mazatrol)......

Anyway... 'onthebumper' says it all... The I/O for Fusion always wipes out the destination first before it writes... Matrix is the same ...
