    Mazak Mazatrol M-2 Rapid

    Hello CNC people.
On the mazatrol M-2 control It is 2 buttons for more feed and
less feed 0 to 200 percent.
To left off more feed button is a button looking like a rapid
movement (long wave with 2 arrows pointing down.)

Quest. Can somebody on the site tell function off that button?

The button is called "Rapid reduce"
According to the manual it`s a key to slow the feed speed from the reference speed.
A decelerating speed is to be set in the parameters.
Please don`t ask me what all that means.
    Mark.

are you talking about your spindle jog buttons? If your are when you go into manual mode if your spindle has two gears you need to pick one. After you select a gear you can press spindle start and you can jog the spindle rpm up and down.
