    tool setter

i have a qt-8 that the tool setter goes down and keeps jumping like it still wants to go down. i checked the inputs for up and down and they come on when the switch is made. i pulled it apart and the motor and gearbox gears are fine...i hit the tool set button and the motor turned on....manually turned the arm to the down position and made the switch...something is still telling the motor to keep running. i also swapped the relays around between the two to make sure one wasn't sticking. any ideas???

Can anyone tell me where to hook up a TT1 tool setter to the RTK2B PLC. I have heard that a TLO setter is nothing more than a micro switch and easily home made but I need to know where to hook it up. I am running a Centroid control and the TLO option is unlocked.

    Thanks

    Gary
