Problem- MITSUBISHI MELDAS L3

Dear friends, i am having used 1991 model meldas L3 controller.we got it as a second hand.

NC unit- FCA- L3
MDI PANNEL-MB 951B
SERVO DRIVE-FCA-310L

But language which is displayed is in Japanese. so kindly help me to change the language to English . if any body knows the links where i can get the manuals for meldas M3/L3.kindly send to me.

When that happened to me, it meant the CMOS battery had died and this meant replacing the battery first, and then reinstalling parameters and the PLC ladder. If you do not have file backups of all that stuff, you've got a real headache before you.

To change the control to English you must do the following;
goto diagnosis page
press plc i/f button
type in (1001) ( ) (M) and press input
gotot parameter page
press base 2 button
page forward until you see lang parameter
change paramter to a 1
power off and on

This may be difficult to find since many of these pages will be in Japanese. The PLC I/F page will be some Japanese characters with an IF in it. Not sure what Base 2 will look like but lang will be in english characters.

Thank you my friend onthebumper for your valuable reply .i got the hardware manual for MELDAS M3 L3 from the link which you sent. but i tried to get software (parameter manual) from meau.com but it is redirecting to mitsubishi website.so i cant down load the parameter manual. so kindly help me by sending the link to get the manual.

Here is the operation manual for a 320L control. It should be similar to the L3.
