    Default Mazatrol Acronyms

Can you please help me with the acronyms used in a QTN 100-2M programing?
I've been programing a QT-6, Qt-8, and a QT-10 with T32 and Tplus for years and understand those quite well. But the milling is giving me problems.
What does SRV-A, SRV-R, and INTER-R stand for in a line milling unit?
Is there a list of all these acronyms? It's not in any of the manuals that came with the machine.
    Thanks
    Bill

SRV-A: stock removal in axial direction how deep is the cut axially to the cutter

SRV-R: stock removal radial direction radial depth of cut at the tool

INTER-R: interference in radial direction this is to help make sure your chamfer cutter does not overcut an adjacent feature. this is for chamfering a pocket inside another pocket. most put in 99.9999 if no interference

put the cursor on the first line in the editor. hit the rightmost key (the MENU KEY) this gets you to the second page of editing related SOFTKEYS. hit the HELP s/k, it gives you a cheat sheet for the items needed to program the unit.

Help key works for most units. it doesnt work for the common unit, the end unit and a manual unit.

Hint - the cursor is tied into the DIALOG BOX in the lower right. Instead of looking at the abbreviated column heading in the program body, look at the full text beside the dialog box. The abbreviated headings for the columns can sometimes be downright MISLEADING, since the context in the unit can change depending on the type of unit.
