    Hello

I work at a turning machine Mazak QTNX 200 II-M with a Matrix controller.
How is it possible to open/close back rest in a program?
    Could anyone recommend anything?
    Thanks

    Hello

Look in the user manual or also in the programming manual.
    You’ll find there a table of M-commands.
The back rest can be also called steady rest.

Opening and closing of the back rest is each one M-command.
It’s M87 & M86 on my Integrex (open & close). M274/M275 is the back rest cooling (steady rest coolant on/off) in my case.

If you test via MDI, pay attention to move an arbor and not to close the back rest empty. Otherwise you’ll crush the deflector to the upper rolls.

    Greetings

    Hello

Thanks a lot for your suggestion. It worked with M87/M86.
