I have restored these a few times and have one to do in the next week. You ussually need a new 3.5 volt battery on the board that preserves the parameters when the machine is shut off. Even if the bat can put out the correct voltage in a test I still replace it. The nextt step is call the machine tool builder and ask for them. The section done by the machine tool builder is ussally not known by anyone else. Ask Mits in chicago (847) 478-2500 if they have the parameters. This is all I can do for now.

Thanks Robert !
I would like to look for someone who have the same machine and controller who can send me their back up parameter so that i can put them into the machine .
My machine are in Hong Kong ,since most of the machine trader have move into china and the one sell machine to me have not sell this brand machine anymore. i have contact the machine tool builder but they don't reply .
I have never seen anyone just load the parameters. There are issues as to when the machine knows the baud rate and when the screen has the right resolution. I have only seen them entered manually. MHI in Chicago is very helpful.

Hi all,

After reset controller and reload parameters, Graphics (SFG key pressed but screen remains black) option is missing. If anybody has a procedure restore graphics again, please contact to me. My e-mail is <skiafas@otenet.gr>.Three files ALL1,ALL2, ALL3, are also the whole backup for this lathe, if anyone have such files, please send to me.

I think you need to reinstall your NC card and reload on it your LADER file and PARAMETERS and etc.

hi guys, have a Meldas 64 control on a Feeler FV-1600, sent control in to reinstall options but now missing macros, How to edit macros, for tool change, also when moving the z axis it will always
return to home position, even when using g90,g91, and the decimal point..but right now just working on tool change macro..
Hello Dear " dj_pigs"
I think your machine hanged in " Tool Change Subprogram " So need to " reset tool changes counter Machine Data "
also, there is ( F13 ) some " PLC Switches" what did you check?
What Kind of " Toolchange system " does your machine use?
-circular,
-chain and
-box type,...
hi, this has a circular umbrella type tool changer, I might be missing the macros for the tool change...I found macros in manual but do not know how to edit on machine..
I Don't think it can miss the " Tool Changes Macro ", BTW I'll be attached some data from my machine.
Hope to be useful
Good luck
hi, I have fixed the Z axis return to home position..now need to load macros, o9001, o9002...not sure about the Ladder files..loading macros by hand would be just like editing a program , right?
hi, this is fixed, when trying to change tool with M06, it would give me a error program not found...installed Macro 9001, loaded from connected pc to main program in Meeldas 64 comtrol, now works nice...
its easy to restore macros in M64. You can turn on fixpro parameter to 1. Then you need to read the same from Data i/o screen
Great to hear that
Good luck

Hi, I'm a CNC tecnician and I need to download the ladder and set the L and R1900 plc data.
Can you help me?
Thanks so much in advance
Carlos Cabrera
Hi there
You can edit your ladder file in the system controller, also you can edit PLC Parameter at Parameters setting.
If you want to have a ladder file, depends on the system controllers version, what is the type of your Mitsubishi controllers?
The machine lost the parameters. I know Fagor, Fanuc and Siemens systems. I worked before on mitsubishi CNC but never face this problem before. I can reload the data in the eeprom. The machine works but the spindle cannot work. I don't have the plc data. So I'm going to study the ladder. Is difficult becouse I need to study in my workshop. SO I want to do in the computer or print in paper. I dont have the M500 plc onboard manual and the PLC Programing manual (Ladder).
Thank you for your prompt response
Carlos Cabrera
PS: The CNC is a Meldas 520 in a lathe machine
