    Default Re intializing T32

    Hello To all,
I have a QT-15 that suffered a dead battery before we purchased it. I successfully entered most of the parameters but still have an issue or two. The biggest issue is the control has no idea what turret position it is on. It will index but the tool # is still "0". I found a PDF file on a battery site BNP-b2991-39 that is for a T-Plus control. I suspect I have to initialize the control. But of course I don't know how to do this.
If anyone can help it is much appreciated.
I would have loaded the file I have but it is my first post so I was not allowed
    Thank you,
    Dave

    Data renewal not allowed.
I have wiped the parameters clean using the dip switches. Reloaded the parameters from the eprom. But when i format the control the 424 alarm comes up.
Parameters 37 thru 47 are set as our paperwork says. Something is up.
We changed those parameters to the same values as another Mazak QT-18 with the same control but still data renewal not allowed.
Not sure if anyone can help.

Data renewal not allowed occurs due to improper formatting. After initializing using dip switches, there is procedure to format nc also. After this please load the parameters.
