Mazatrol T1 gives ***.** for position

Hi,

We have a Mazatrol T1 where after a changing the battery gives ***.** for both X and Z axis position.
We already put back all the parameters but still the position is not showing up.
Any idea what could be wrong here ?

Generally the reason for the *** is wrong or missing parameters.
Did you put in the check sum digit for the OP parameters?

Thanks for answering. Yes, we checked every parameter.
I also found another thread where they advice to clear the memory before modifying the parameters.

I will give that a go tomorrow.

For example if the OP para is 01001100 it would be entered 010011003.

Case solved. We had to reenter every parameter, even the correct ones. Probably some corruption.

We still have a little issue in automatic mode.

In manual mode all goes fine, but lets say that in automatic we specify that the diameter must be 50, then it gives us a diameter of 50.225 and it also shows this on the screen, so in my humble opinion, there must be somewhere an offset defined by a parameter.
Someone has a list of the meaning of each parameter so we can verify this ?

Confirmed. The offset is always the same.

The looks most likely to be a parameter out.
I looked through them and couldn't really zero in on the one in question, maybe try a couple of small changes one at a time and see if any diff.

Probably a stupid question but have you set your tool data correctly?

We used the same parameters as before, when everything worked fine.
I must admit that some parameters were difficult to read (photos of the screen), so perhaps we made an error there.

Did you ever figure out why you were getting an offset? Same thing seems to be happening for us.
