Mazak slant 40 n spindle motor issues

Hi
we have a slant 40 n

the spindle motor has stopped, I have looked and it has run out of brushes.

the motor was upgraded by previous owner as they did a lot of stainless steel.

can anyone help where we get brushes for the motor ?

or an replacement spindle motor maybe?

or can we upgrade to a ac motor and controller as I have found one from another Mazak that has been wrecked

any help appreciated

Go to your local motor repairer /rewinder. They should be able to help you or google brush manufacturers in your area and have them make a set. There is a place in Melbourne that made mine. Cant think of the name at the moment but they were fast and not expensive though you should have someone over there that make them
