    Default Axis took off

    G'day all,
I know I've seen it on here before but didn't come up in a search. I had a bit of time to put the motor back in the VQC20/50 mill today. For some reason as soon as I switched it on the axis took off. Any ideas? I did read somewhere else that the power wires may be reversed but the axis shouldn't move on its own as soon as machine is switched on. Could it be tach gen or resolver? Will wait for your helpful replies

Sorted. Wires were switched on the motor. The new motor had no markings on the wires. Switched the 2 bigger wires and all good

    Regards Bob
