    Default I/O trouble with Mazak QT10 - Mazatrol T-Plus

    Hey Guys.

I recently started in this company. We have a 1996 Mazak QT10 with Mazatrol T-Plus control.
Before I started the machine was moved and some smart guy decided to cut off the RS232 cable.
I had no information or knowledge how to do it but I have set it as my personal goal to make it work again.

    Here is what i have:
-Win xp desktop with a db9 serial socket
-DNC cable from a CNC-Shop (Pinout should be right since it was listed for this control and the seller confirmed it)
    -Ncnet lite software from cadem

I have found several sources of parameters to try from.
My current user parameters are as following
    Baud 4800
    2 Stop bits
    No parity
    8 data bits
    XON/XOFF handshaking
    No DC CODE parity
    IO wait time 5

The Machine gives me 5 options for data transmission:
    CMT I/O
    TAPE I/O
    DNC I/O
    PRINT OUT
    COMPUTER I/O

With CMT i get 551 CMT MIS-CONNECTED error
With Tape i get NO TAPE READER PUNCHER OPTION
With DNC i get NO DNC OPTION
I havent tried Print out since i assume its for a physical copy of the program
The only partial success i had is downloading a program via COMPUTER I/O but the programm looks like a complete mess.
Here is an actual sample i managed to get out of the machine:

    G5P36M0A0B00KS06.
    G5P36M0AB00KS0.
    M30

Obviously when i try to re-upload it to the machine i get an error but i haven't really tapped into that since i would like to get a real program out of the machine as a start.

I tried playing around with the Software parameters on the computer, the COM port via the device manager on windows and the parameters on the machine.
Sometimes i managed to get a complete different kind of mess.

Problem is i can't find any information on the internet on COMPUTER I/O. Everybody seems to use CMT or TAPE for mazatrol and EIA programs.
I don't even know which parameter section actually affects the COMPUTER I/O (I have DV1 - DV8 in my user parameters and i know that DV1 is for CMT and DV2 is for Tape)
When i select COMPUTER I/O i have the following options:
    LOAD TAPE -> NC
    PUNCH NC -> TAPE
    COMPARE NC= TAPE

Since it says TAPE i suspect DV2 will affect this but I am not sure.

Again i worked out all this information in the last couple of weeks and that is really all my expirience with I/O.
I would greatly appreciate if anyone had an idea what else i could try. I already spent way too much time and nerves on weekends for this

    Hey Hemanth!

Thank you for your offer! I'm not sure what more information about the machine you need? I tried to describe it as good as i can. If you have specific information you need, i'm sure i can get them.
Do i have another possibility than serial communication? I only have a db25 serial socket at the machine.
