Hello all. I recently had to take the tool arm sensor apart in my Mazak QT30 as there was a large crack in the elbow and it needed to be welded. Upon taking it apart, the wires in the sensor had broken off. After soldering them back in and hooking it back up the little red light did not come on nor did it beep when contact was made. I took it apart again and noticed the wires had snapped, I then replaced the wires with new ones and soldered them back in. There was once again no light or contact beep. Took the wire off and switched the black and red and when it is connected I get the red light on but still no contact beep. I have run out of ideas on what it is and am wondering if I need to buy a new sensor for the machine.
