I am a bit of a noob here, but have read a lot on here over the years and got a lot of good information from this forum.
We recently purchased a 1984 Mazak QT10 for a very good deal, and we are having some issues getting it up and turning.
We have the machine getting power and the control is coming on. I have asterix on the X & Z Axis readouts and we have the alarms 28 emergency stop and 55 spindle overload. There is no load on either of the load meters.
I have a copy of the parameters and have loaded them into the machine but that didnt seem to do anything. Also made sure the machine has 90 psi at the regulator.
We have not been able to get the machine to move any axis thus far or do a zero return, even after loading parameters and shutting it off/on.
When I checked the Mitsubishi Freqrol drive, there are no lights on it whatsoever, I checked the breaker on the bottom and it has power flowing through it and is in the on position.
I have been doing a lot of reading on this forum but nothing specific has helped thus far.
I would like to get this machine up and going, it looks to be in rather good condition so hopefully I can get and keep her fixed up and keep turning for another 20 years.
