Hi, I have a huge amount of parts I need to cut out of one sheet, and I would rather not go through and do contour toolpaths for each one. I can use surface contour and get the whole thing done in a couple clicks (i have all the parts in 3D), however I need to have the CNC cut in a certain direction so I don't get melted plastic on the cut. Can I reverse the chains somehow on a surface contour, or is there a configuration for cutting a certain direction? |

| Hi, I´m not sure about which toolpath type you are using but I guess it´s "Surface Finish Contour". If that´s the case you can reverse the direction of the toolpath under the tab "Finish contour parameters" by switching between "Climb" and "Conventional". See picture.. |

| You´re welcome, actually, it feels great to bring some help to other people, sooner or later I will need help myself and this is a good place to get it. Good luck with your milling, greetings from a very cold Sweden. /Thomas |
